Queens Park Rangers F.C. approached Contra Agency to help spread the word about the newly designed club crest. Looking for something edgy, exciting and fresh, Contra Agency were able to offer a unique approach to showcase everything that goes into QPR crest. From the fans to the staff to the manager, players and stadium – Contra wanted to show that the crest represents the club at its best, and agreed a fast-paced, voiceover led social media film would help generate excitement for the release of the crest.
Having written a powerful script, Contra set about shooting content across two shoot days including a match against Charlton, behind the scenes footage at the training ground and out and about with fans. Actor and voiceover artist James D’Arcy leant his wonderful voice to the film and Contra’s in-house editor Will Hammond worked on creating a stunning edit ready in time for release.
QPR were thrilled with the final film. In three weeks the project was able to reach 4.2 million people, trending at number 3 on Twitter and accumulating 80,000+ views in the following weeks.
