If your application or website is underperforming, we can conduct a UX audit looking at personas, user journeys, conversation rates and sentiment.
User Research.
We have conducted user research for some of the biggest organisations in the world, interviewing, surveying and analysing data.
UX Design.
We design in a user-centric fashion, using the data we’ve collected during our research. We iterate rapidly using feedback from real users.
UX Testing.
We test our designs with real users and iterate based on feedback. We can conduct both quantitative and qualitative testing and provide evidence for making changes.
Partnering with your developers.
We produce web and mobile apps in our UX design studio, which means we have a deep technical understanding. If you have in-house developers, or an existing development partner, and need a user interface designed for the application they are creating, then we are your agency.
Beyond wireframes.
We can go beyond UX wireframes, mockups, and static designs and produce standards-compliant HTML toolkits, complete with documentation for you developers to utilise. This guarantees the final quality and reduces developers misinterpreting implementations. We can also produce full style guides, brand guides and branding, to help you take your application from a codebase into a fully-fledged product.

Our UX design projects.
User research and UX testing.
Over the past 24, our London UX design agency has developed various methods for user research and UX testing:
Stakeholder research
We like to include both internal stakeholders (your team) and external stakeholders (your users). Stakeholder research allows you to gain insight into requirements, pain points, brand as well as providing a sense of buy-in from participants. We can do this through interviews, focus groups and surveys. We also conduct a range of desk-based research.
Tree testing
A staple in our UX design studio, tree testing is a great way to test information architecture (IA) both in terms of hierarchy but also the naming of things. Bad IA will mean users struggle to find the answers they need. We use an online tool, which allows us to gather feedback from a wide group of participants easily.
First-click testing
First-click testing allows us to rapidly test the usability of wireframes and page layouts. We use an online tool which allows us to set tasks for participants to complete (such as clicking on a contact button). We can then analyse the results and make recommendations.
Moderated usability testing
Frequent usability testing with small groups is the best way to identify and resolve usability issues. We have various ways of setting up these tests and working with small groups to test, iterate, and test again.
Frequently asked questions
- What is UX design?
UX design focuses on enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability and accessibility of a product or service. It involves understanding users' needs, behaviours, and pain points, then designing intuitive interfaces and interactions. The goal is to create a seamless experience that meets user expectations and drives engagement.
- What is the user experience design process?
The user experience (UX) design process is a systematic approach that begins with research to understand user needs and behaviours through surveys, interviews, and observations. This is followed by analysis, where user personas and journey maps are created. Next comes design, which involves developing wireframes and prototypes. Testing gathers feedback to refine the design, and finally, implementation delivers the final product while ensuring user satisfaction throughout the process.
- What is a UX design wireframe?
A UX design wireframe is a visual blueprint of a product's layout, illustrating the arrangement of elements on a page. It serves as a guide for designers and developers, showcasing the structure, navigation, and functionality without the distractions of colours or graphics. Wireframes help in refining concepts and ensuring a user-centered design.
- What UX design tools do you use?
We use a variety of tools to enhance our UX design workflow. Optimal Workshop helps us with card sorting, Treejack for navigation testing, and Chalkmark for design feedback. For moderated user testing, we rely on Loop 11. Crazy Egg provides valuable heat maps and session recordings, while SurveyMonkey is great for gathering insights. Lastly, we utilise Figma as our collaborative design tool.
